Do you love working with young children? We are looking for an energetic, positive, child care aide to join our active centers.
Minimum Responsibilities:
Maintain staff/child ratios
Provide a safe, positive environment for the children you are working with
Follow the Child Care Licensing Department's guidelines and regulations
Follow the center's daily schedule
Prep and cook meals and snacks as needed
Clean and disinfect center
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years old or older
Must be enrolled in the Central Background Registry (CBR) PRIOR to beginning the job
Must obtain a CPR and First Aid Care within the first 90 days of employment
Must obtain a Food Handlers card within the first 30 days of employment
Must take a Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect class (2 hour online training) within the first 30 days of employment
Must take Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety class (1 hour online training) within the first 30 days of employment
Physical Aspects of the Job:
Possible lifting of 30 to 50 lbs as needed
Getting up and down off of the floor multiple times a day
On your feet for long periods of time, inside and outside
90 day Trial Period. Position hours may vary
We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm. We are a year round program
We are willing to train the right person to be a toddler/preschool teacher
