Job Overview
Perspectives NW, Abuse Intervention Services, is looking for a talented facilitator to join our team. This individual is proactive, enjoys helping others, and is calm under pressure. If you are an effective communicator who thrives working with individuals who are struggling with deficient life skills, this might be the position for you!
Our team members work independently most of the time and rely on communication and training with our Executive Director. Our work is critical to the success of our clients, so it is important to be emotionally intelligent and to be present when facilitating our groups. It is of the utmost importance that what occurs in the group is noted, and participant program progress notes are done promptly, so our outside community partners receive accurate information about our mutual clients.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:
1) Facilitate intervention group sessions using a scripted curriculum,
2) Enter progress notes for each session,
3) Communicate with staff and outside agencies with needed and time-sensitive information,
4) Model good communication and professionalism to other staff and clients,
5) Attend staff meetings and training,
6) Complete special projects when needed
7) Qualifications:
A) Formal education in a helping profession (ie, social sciences, forensics, psychology, criminal justice, social work, education, etc.)
B) Computer proficient,
C) Pass a criminal background check
