Job Summary Student Health Services is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician Manager. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position.The Advanced Practice Clinician Manager directly supervises all advanced practice clinicians at Student Health Services, evaluates adherence to clinic policies and accreditation standards and provides comprehensive primary health care to patients in a clinic setting.The Student Health Services ( SHS ) mission is to provide leadership for the health of the University community. Obtains medical histories, performs physical exams, establishes diagnoses, orders lab/studies, prescribes medications and arranges consultation for patients seen at SHS .
Participates in formal and informal teaching programs.
Promotes an inclusive environment by demonstrating sensitivity and understanding toward students from diverse backgrounds.

Directly supervises all advanced practice clinicians.
Conducts annual performance evaluations and review of position descriptions.
Adjudicates grievances/concerns regarding advanced practice clinicians.
Coordinates and facilitates regular team meetings and minutes for APC staff
Regularly attends clinic leadership team meetings
Evaluates the quality of patient care through involvement in quality improvement programs.
Participates in evaluating and updating SHS policies and ensuring compliance with AAAHC standards
Participates in updating patient education material and medical forms.
Contributes to orientation of new personnel.
Participates in educational outreach on campus and in the community as requested.
Carries out other duties as assigned
What You Will Need Licensed Advance Practice Clinician – Physician Associate: Possession of a valid Oregon license as a Physician Associate and successful completion of the national certification exam.ORAdvanced Practice Nurse: Current Oregon license as a Registered Nurse and possession of a valid certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support certification.A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq.
