This company has three homes, serving 18 individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Position Summary:
The direct care employee directly serves our clientele, providing care, support and skills-training to individuals with developmental disabilities. Basic job duties may include: food preparation, house cleaning, skills-training at home and/or in the community, basic hygiene care, medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living, following a support plan, transportation of clients (approved drivers only), social skills training, and integration into the community.
Hours/Shifts:
We are currently looking to hire Part time and On-call employees. Full time and part time positions often become available in time.
No experience is required, but you must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a Criminal History Check. We will provide training, and pay for your CPR/First Aid class.
Pay and Benefits:
Starting at $12.25/hour after training. Training will be paid at a rate of $11.25/hour.
We also offer a .50 cent per hour attendance incentive for employees that complete all scheduled shifts.
If all shifts are completed the hourly wage is $12.75/hour
Paid Vacation, Medical and Dental benefits are available for full time employees
