Stoneybrook Assisted Living, the premier assisted living community in Corvallis, Oregon is now hiring a Director of Health Services (Registered Nurse). This is a full-time position.
About Our Opportunity:
The Director of Health Services (DHS) is responsible for the oversight of all resident health issues to ensure the highest quality of resident services are continually delivered. A successful candidate will possess excellent teaching, education and coaching abilities as well as the ability to effectively oversee the Medication Assistants responsible for delivering medication to our residents. The DHS is responsible for effective and timely communication with residentsâ physicians, residents and residentsâ family members. Given the number of staff you will be responsible for supervising, strong and effective management skills are critical. Strong organizational skills are needed to follow established procedures which ensure outstanding medical care for our residents. The DHS reports directly to the Administrator. The DHS is a team player who is good at motivation and must be well educated in delivery of services.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
⢠Must be a licensed registered nurse
⢠Must be at least 21 years of age
⢠Maintains current CPR certification
⢠Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
⢠Capable of working in a team setting and being a team player
⢠Possess excellent organizational skills
⢠Provide excellent customer service
⢠Skilled in working under time constraints to meet department deadlines
⢠Ability to follow and adhere to policies, procedures and standards
