Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Fertilizer Loader for a seasonal position with a seed company partner in Shedd, OR. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including loading bulk fertilizer into trucks by climbing ladders and operating equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Fertilizer Loading: Climb ladders on the side of trucks and pull down a metal rod to dump bulk fertilizer, performing this task up to 40 times a day.
Equipment Operation: If you have prior forklift experience, you may occasionally operate a front loader in the warehouse to relieve the full-time person.
Physical Labor: Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job.
Schedule: Work Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday hours from 7:00 AM to noon.
Safety Compliance: Work boots are required
Qualifications:
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role. Forklift experience is preferred
Physical Ability: Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including climbing, lifting, and working in various conditions.
