Foster Home Caregiver needed for caring for Adults with Disabilities in a private adult foster home setting.
The hours are for Monday-Tuesday, and Thursday-Saturday evenings from 2:00pm-9pm. This schedule is somewhat flexible, and please still call if a specific day does not work. Additional hours may be available after training, and an additional wage increase will be available as well. Please call for more details.
Job duties include giving medication, caring for individual residents, helping to organize activities, basic medical and financial documentation, and helping with household care- cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. A valid Oregon driver's license is required, and all applicants must pass a criminal history check. Additional training and first aid/CPR will also be required after hiring.
We are a small family-owned business, doing business in Linn County for over 25 years. We try and create a family team and that has each other's and the client's interests in mind at all times. We have very little turnover as our employees tend to stay a very long time. Although some previous experience for this position could be helpful, it is not required, and we will provide additional training as needed. After the training period is complete, sick time and vacation time will be made available, in addition to a wage increase. There will be a $300 bonus for completing the criminal history check, training, and the first 30 days.
