PCL’s Maintenance Team is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician mainly in Marion/Polk, Yamhill, Linn/Benton, Lane (on occasion Jackson/Josephine Counties). A successful Maintenance Technician ill provide Maintenance support to over 30 homes that PCL provides support to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Location: Monmouth, OR - Working mostly in Polk, Marion, Yamhill, Benton, and Lane Counties - On occasion Jackson & Josephine Counties
Type of Position: Regularly scheduled, Full-time, salaried. Include being part of the on-call rotation and will include occasional evenings and weekends
Starting Wages/Benefits: $16.00/hr, DOE

Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED preferred
Experience Requirements: Must have maintenance experience. Must be able to drive and be able to pass the drivers test for a work truck, a truck with an attached trailer, and a box van

Requirements:
Must have maintenance experience
The ability to regularly lift 50 lbs
Must be at least 18 years old
Pass a State/Federal Criminal History Check
Pre-employment drug screening (for the use of illegal drugs in Oregon)
Background screening including employment and education history
Valid ODL with an insurable driving record
Must be able/or willing to learn to drive a truck with an attached trailer as well as a box van
Regular and dependable attendance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competent in Google applications or willing to learn
Excellent time management skills
Excellent customer service
Excellent organizational and planning skills, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to timelines
Must have computer/Ipad experience
Duties and Responsibilities::
Adherence to PCL’s Mission and Values, Ethical Guidelines, Playbook Attributes, and Standards of Conduct
Must represent PCL professionally
Responsible for maintaining the homes of the people supported by PCL as well as all of PCL’s business locations
Responsible to assure all PCL’s practices in relation to Covid-19
Responsible to maintain all equipment
Provide assistance to the Maintenance Team when need
Safe usage and storage of chemicals according to OSHA guidelines
Safe storage and practice when using power tools
Assist in keeping truck and assigned work spaces clean
Responsible to track and maintain equipment checked/assigned
Contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
