Pawcific NW Grooming - We are a full service mobile grooming facility looking for an experienced dog groomer. You will be working out of a 2022 Hanvey Mobile Grooming Van. The van just went through some upgrades this year to have a higher powered blow dryer.
We are a compassionate dog first grooming company. We started in 2021 in the PDX area. Just this year we relocated to North Albany. The clientele has not been rebuilt so you will be coming on to build your own book of business.
Please have a valid driver's license. Applicants should be professional with a desire to please clients. Resume with grooming history a must. A good driving record will be necessary to add you to the insurance.
We are looking for
Grooming school graduate or equivalent education or experience and at least two years work experience as a professional groomer
Full breed knowledge
Sensitivity to health concerns and a GREAT dog handler
The ability to assess and notated health & skin problems
Ability to groom quickly and efficiently without wasting a lot of time
Clear communication with client needs & an understanding of what they are asking for
Work in a positive environment
Maintain a clean working environment
We provide shampoo and all the necessary grooming tools including sheers, blades, brushes ect. We also take care of the sharpening.
Use of a smartphone for client tracking & grooming notes.
Able to lift 50 + pounds
