Gathering Together Farm in Philomath, Oregon is seeking seasonal part-time propagation assistant to help support summer planting efforts until the end of season, 1 – 5 days per week. This job may allow for a return to the 2025 season.
Responsibilities:
Soil mixing
Hand seeding trays
Transplanting
Weed: Greenhouse
Load Trucks with starts for transplanting
Transplanting
Watering
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Ability to meet all physical demands
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent
Ability to drive a manual transmission
Competency Qualifications:

Attention to detail
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Work Environment:
Work is performed in greenhouses and fields, in a variety of weather conditions
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push, pull, or lift items weighing 50 pounds.
Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
Part time, seasonal position. Hours may vary dependent on workload and plant growth.
Start time includes early morning during the week.
Weekend work during the peak of the season
