Job Duties:
Read and accurately interpret drawings. Perform quality inspections at all stages of the manufacturing process, including first article, in-production, and final inspection handheld measurement devices, such as calipers and alignment gauges, as well as electronic inspection equipment, such as coordinate-measure machines (CMM). Record measurement data accurately in the appropriate format. Accept or reject part/material, verify measurements, make minor repairs
Education, Experience, Certifications, Licenses:
High school diploma or GED required.Associate degree or other post high school vocational training in a related field plus minimum of 2 years of experience performing Inspection in a build-to-print environment.5 years of experience and demonstrated competency to perform duties in a build-to-print environment may substitute for post high school training.CMM, PC-DMIS, MicroVu experience preferred.Quality Inspector Certification (ASQ CQI) preferred.
