Seasonal harvest/fall help needed immediately at Bailey Seed & Grain seed processing facility.
We are a wholesale seed dealer and processor, looking for hard-working individuals to join our warehouse crew for busy season. As a warehouse staff member, you will work 12-hour days (6AM-6PM), Mondays-Fridays, with possible Saturday shifts as needed.
Warehouse work at our processing facility includes but is not limited to:
-Working inside our two seed cleaning mills, with or alongside machinery.
-Utilizing machinery to fill, stitch, and tag 25-50lb seed bags.
-Stacking 25-50lb bags of seed onto pallets, and moving these pallets via forklift around the property.
-Stacking and unstacking full pallets of seed via forklift, within a warehouse.
-Pulling and staging seed orders for customers.
-Blowing out, and sweeping warehouses, mills, and machinery to remove seed, debris, and dust.
-Completing paperwork regarding seed orders or cleaning, to be turned into office staff.
Experience/skills/ Needed:
-Ability to lift 50lbs, repeatedly throughout the shift.
-Ability to be on your feet/walk most of the day.
-Forklift experience.
-Can read and understand written documents in English.
-Must be able to communicate with administrative staff in English.
-Driven to help keep our warehouses and mills, clean and organized.
-Reliable transportation, and excellent attendance.
Prior experience in the seed industry or warehouse work preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
