Graphic Designer / Prepress Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and the exciting potential to advance to a General Manager role for the right candidate. We are a successful and growing print shop serving Linn, Benton, and surrounding Counties. We provide comprehensive printing, design, and marketing services, focusing on business-to-business clients. The company needs a prepress, print, and copy specialist with hands-on digital printing experience and graphic design skills. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, driven to achieve sales growth, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a candidate with a proven track record of surpassing weekly sales goals, being innovative and continuously seeking to improve efficiencies with a laser focus on growing teams. You will work with the operating business partners, design, and customer service departments to set files up for digital printing and oversee digital throughput.

Duties:

Create and design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite

Develop layouts for print advertising materials

Operate multiple types of printing and finishing equipment

Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently

Maintain inventory of materials and supplies

Ensure quality control standards are met for all finished products

Safely operate other equipment as needed

Focus on teamwork as a key pillar to business growth.

Crosstrain teams so that the business can run efficiently in the absence of any one team member.

Qualifications:

Graphic design: 3-5 years

Adobe Creative Suite: 3-5 years

Fiery Command Workstation: 3-5 years

Print & Copy: 3-5 years

Prepress: 3-5 years

Previous experience in machining and fabrication

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Strong graphic design skills with an eye for typography and layout design

Knowledge of printing techniques and processes

Familiarity with print advertising production methods

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong problem-solving abilities

Effective communication skills
