Pettit Staffing is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) admin/Quickbooks individual for a small construction company. Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Administrative/Accountant Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks and enjoy working in a dynamic, small-business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining financial records using QuickBooks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports as needed.
Handle invoicing, billing, and payroll processing.
Assist with general administrative duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining office organization.
Maintain accurate records of expenses, budgets, and project costs.
Support with document preparation and filing.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
Exposure to bookkeeping tasks annd some experience, preferably in the construction industry (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
