Property Manager

Job description

We are looking for a property manager for a mix use residential/commercial building. The residential side is a OHCS/EB property, knowledge of HUD/LIHTC, section 8 rentals and paperwork are required.

Duties include but not limited to:

Issue monthly invoices

Collect and deposit rents

Read water and electric meters

follow-up with tenants on unpaid balances

Generate leases and oversee move-ins and move-outs

Oversee routine maintenance/minor repairs

Advertise/show available spaces

Arrange for and oversee service vendors

Proficient with Microsoft software/email (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Walking the building daily and noting issues throughout

Respond to tenants, owners, vendors and sterling staff in a timely manner

Summary

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing property management operations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to residents. Your core skills in property leasing and maintenance will be essential in maintaining tenant satisfaction. With premium expertise in LIHTC and Section 8 programs, you will navigate complex regulations effectively. Additionally, your relevant skills in negotiation and conflict management will help foster positive relationships within the community.
