C&R Real Estate Services Co. is looking for an Assistant Manager for a beautiful 137-unit apartment community in Albany. This attractive community has all the amenities you could possibly want a fitness center, pool, hot tub, sports court and much more.
JOB SUMMARY
As the Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager with the day-to-day management of this property including marketing, maintaining property integrity, showing available units and screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports and preparing agreements, and maintaining files and records. You will be responsible for the daily inspection of the property and all amenities including vacant units, model, pool and laundry room to ensure it is always looking its best! Courteous relations with the residents and vendors is essential in this position. The site is lease up, so you must have the ability to multitask, stay organized and work in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires working on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (REQUIRED) from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You are not required to live onsite; however, if you chose to, you'll receive a 25% discount on rent, have your water, sewer and gas comped, and there is a separate office! YOUR PETS ARE WELCOME! The position will begin as Part-Time and will eventually become Full-Time.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Leasing units
Marketing vacancies
Scheduling vendors, turnovers and repairs
Strong Customer Service skills
Computer knowledge
Experience with AMSI or YARDI a plus
Maintaining grounds and common areas
Saturdays REQUIRED
Basic MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division and percentages)
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, self-motivated and energetic.
Possess the ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail.
