Responsibilities:
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
(Experience with heat pumps, ductless, gas furnaces, gas fireplaces, water heaters, and control wiring.)
- Install and pressurize gas lines
- Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues occasionally
- Drive a company van to travel to customer locations for installations and repairs
- Build fittings and transitions in sheet metal shop
- Must be able to take direction well and work independently
Experience:
- Previous experience in HVAC installation and repair is required
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and components
- Knowledge of geothermal heat pumps and maintenance is a plus
- Air balancing and duct sizing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
