Landscape Maintenance Supervisor
We are looking for the right person to train for and take over a unique position as Landscape Maintenance Supervisor with a company that has excelled in high quality work for over 30 years. You should have at least 3 years experience in the following areas:
All aspects of Landscape Maintenance including mowing, edging, blowing, string trimming, pruning small trees, shrubs & perennials, pesticide application, weed removal, lawn renovations, planting, fertilizing, etc…
Experience in employee or crew management, scheduling, customer communications & follow through.
This person should be very organized & able to manage many jobs simultaneously. This supervisor would oversee maintenance for more than 100 accounts and six employees. Our customers are a mix of commercial & residential accounts including several HOA’s.
A pesticide applicator license will be needed & the applicant should be prepared to study for and apply for this license, if they do not have it already.
The supervisor will be responsible for meeting with & communicating with customers regularly to identify and verify maintenance work & priorities that need to be done, resolve any issues that come up and attend to new requests & expectations.
Experience in basic irrigation skills will also be important in dealing with simple repairs, winterization, adjustments, etc.
Gaia Landscapes has been in operations for over 30 years and as a new employee, you would be part of a committed team including 20 very talented individuals in Maintenance, Construction, and Irrigation.
We need a person that will bring his/her experience and enthusiasm to a position with very important responsibilities and duties.
This position would start at $25-$27/hr depending on experience.
