We are searching for a well-qualified and motivated Ranch Hand to assist with operations on our family-owned alfalfa/cattle ranch. This is a full-time position, located in Fort Rock, Oregon.
This position entails all general ranch and farm work. We’re looking for a ranch hand with 3+ years recent experience in cattle/alfalfa ranch operations, who is well-prepared for:
Daily Cattle Operations; Cow/calf
Corral/Fence Building and Repair
Ranch and Farm and Hay Equipment Operation, Repairs and Maintenance
Pivot Irrigation Operations
The person who fills this position will have:
Strong Communication Skills
Valid Drivers License
Our preferred candidate will demonstrate:
Ranch Hand Experience
Alfalfa and Grain Hay Production Experience
Livestock Management Experience, Including Work with Horses, and Practical Veterinary Skills (Vaccinations, Castrating, Calving Difficulties, etc.)
CDL Preferred (Not Required)
