Position Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to put your business and organizational skills to work in support of the Willamette Valley’s largest and most dynamic travel agency – TravelPerks. This is not a sales position. This is an administrative position that works to support our sales staff while also handling aspects of organizing the logistics for travel. The position requires a highly intelligent, problem-solving, well-organized individual who enjoys both independent data entry/analysis along with direct customer and peer interaction as needed for information gathering, sales support, customer care, and post-sales follow-up. QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree or higher, or equivalent work experience.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients both in writing and verbally.

Excellent typing, computer, mathematical, and analytical skills, along with the ability to compose any client correspondence required.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think through next steps and anticipate needs.

Strong experience with Windows-based computers and advanced knowledge of core software platforms. Understanding Excel pivot tables, data analysis, and workflow automations a bonus.

Demonstrates exceptional travel research skills, including the ability to identify the best destinations, accommodations, itineraries, and value options tailored to each client’s needs.

The ability to incorporate AI tools into every aspect of job success without relying on it to accomplish your work.

Ability to efficiently operate automated reservation systems & modern office software/operating systems

Must be able to grasp complex processes and make intelligent and thoughtful decisions using critical thinking skills.

Must be attentive to details and remember and implement detailed processes that are both documented and undocumented, the latter with a reasonable amount of training and examples

Ability to speak to and hear guests over telephone and computer systems.

Must be able to meet physical requirements as outlined in the Essential Functions of the full job description.

Successful completion of a background check is required

Candidates must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
