Job Description
At Farmers Insurance we are continuously growing and looking to train motivated individuals to join our company. We are currently seeking to fulfill full-time positions for Sales Representatives. As Sales Rep you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current customers as well as using marketing tools to generate new business. This position will require you to obtain your Oregon insurance licenses. We can provide guidance during this process.
The Candidate
Has outstanding relationship building skills
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and be coachable
Has an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
Is a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
Has a sales driven personality
The Tasks
Use marketing tools to generate new business
Bind, quote and write new policies
Cross/Up sell existing customers
Help with everyday tasks in the office
The Requirements
Must have a High school diploma or GED equivalent
Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
Customer service experience required
Willingness to obtain Oregon Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance licenses
Sales experience required
