Job Title: CNC Machine OperatorJob DescriptionAerotek is seeking a CNC Operator who is comfortable on a Day Shift in Eugene, Oregon. Starting wage is based on experience and is no less than 22$HR. Those interested will be responsible for, but not limited to: Performing machining on parts and tools using blueprints and schematics. Also, operating more than one machine at a time, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift.Responsibilities
Operate multiple machines concurrently.
Perform intermediate level machining of parts and tools with limited supervision.
Set up and operate all available machine tools.
Perform progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances.
Understand and apply knowledge of metals and alloys to parts being machined.
Interpret and comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints, drawings, written specifications, charts, and tables.
Use all machinist hand tools and measuring instruments skillfully.
Fit and assemble components as necessary.
Set up and lay out work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications according to requirements.
Maintain a track record of high-quality work with low rework and scrap history.
Maintain high efficiencies and run rates for given machines.
Work safely and as part of a high-performing team.
Perform other duties as assigned based on volume and high mix part runs.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC machine operation.
Experience in production, machining, and machine operation.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Knowledge of machining, manufacturing, and general labor processes.
Experience with assembly, lathe, and mill operations.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Understanding of metals and alloys properties.
Experience with machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
Ability to set up and lay out work from technical documents.
Track record of high-quality work and maintaining efficiency.
