1. Maintains and cares for school classrooms, restrooms and common areas:
Daily, Weekly, As Needed
Clean Restrooms
Empty wastebaskets
Mop and disinfect floors
Clean and disinfect sinks
Clean and disinfect mirrors
Clean and disinfect toilet bowls-seats, urinals, & pipes
Check hand soap, paper towel, & tissue supplies
Check that toilets, urinals, faucets & drain are working
Clean doors and partitions
Spot clean walls and ceiling
Replace lights
Clean light fixtures
Clean exterior of all dispensers (tissue, soap, etc.)
Clean light switches, door handles and woodwork
Vacuum all carpeted areas
Sweep all tiled floors with dust mop
Empty pencil sharpeners
Clean chalkboards at the end of the week and use silicon spray quarterly to restore
Dust all ledges and other surfaces
Salary: $15/hr
Must have a high school diploma or General Equivalency.
Must understand the principles of safety
Ability to use required equipment and to lift 50 pounds.
Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
