Job Title: Operator 1, Manufacturing (Day & Swing Available at this time)Job DescriptionAs an Operator 1 in the Assembly Department, you will operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment. You will be responsible for weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials using a computer interface to ensure proper materials and quantities are used in batches. You will also calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment, perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications, and comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.Responsibilities
Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.
Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure proper materials and quantities in batches.
Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
Follow all safe practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures.
Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness requirements.
May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Receive general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.
Essential Skills
Experience in assembly, packaging, and manufacturing.
Ability to operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.
Proficiency in weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials using a computer interface.
Skill in calibrating and operating semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of in-process sampling and testing procedures.
Understanding of company safety regulations and procedures.
Familiarity with safe practices and SOPs.
Experience in completing and maintaining Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and SOPs.
