The Axe & Fiddle, located in the beautifully restored Burkholder Woods Building on main street downtown Cottage Grove is seeking a line cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. We specialize in local craft beer, cocktails, and an electric dinner menu featuring locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and nightly specials. Our vibrant pub atmosphere includes live music and entertainment nearly every weekend.
Position: Part-Time Line Cook
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
-Assist in food preparation and ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
-Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure efficient operations.
Schedule:
-5 and 6.5 hour evening shifts starting at 4:00 p.m. and 5 p.m., 2-3 days a week, with opportunities for additional hours.
-Weekend availability preferred.
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience; prep experience is a plus.
-Oregon food handlers card required.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
