Our new bright and cheery Farmers Garden Café Food Cart is situated in amongst the garden plants at the Lane Forest Corner Store Nursery near the U of O on Franklin Blvd. We are looking for just the right person with Barista experience to grow with us. This is a part time position and requires weekend availability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting baked goods and coffee drinks.
Prepare beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate the Point of Sale and handle transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including stocking supplies and products
Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches and packaging pastries
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about our products and services
Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Opening and closing duties
QUALIFICATIONS
Barista experience required
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine maintenance preferred
Current Food Handlers Card required
Excellent friendly communication skills required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Efficient and well- organization with an entrepreneurial outlook
