We’re looking for a part-time Barrel House Beertender to join our team with a flexible schedule of 2-4 days a week, including nights and weekends. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a strong passion for craft beer to expand their knowledge and share our offerings with guests. We strive to provide guests with an exceptional experience in our taproom and brewery.
Responsibilities:
Greet and serve guests with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism
Provide beer recommendations based on guest preferences and knowledge of our offerings
Have a passion to share your beer knowledge with guests
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized taproom
Accurately handle cash, credit, and POS transactions
Ensure responsible alcohol service and monitor consumption
Assist with restocking, opening/closing duties, and taproom events
Represent ColdFire Brewing with pride at all times, whether during everyday service or special events
What We’re Looking For:
Most have 2 years experience in the craft beer industry
Passion and knowledge of craft beer and beer styles
Able to talk about and describe beer with wide assortment of guest (beer enthusiasts to novice beer drinkers)
Bartending or hospitality experience is preferred
Ability to work nights and weekends, 2-4 days per week
Must complete Cicerone® Certified Beer Server exam within 60 days of employment
Test fee reimbursed upon passing
Must be 21+ and able to lift up to 150 lbs
