Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays (16 hours per week)
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at our motel in Eugene, Oregon. This position is ideal for someone looking for weekend-only work.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures
Confirm guest information, assign rooms, and distribute keys
Collect payment for room charges and additional fees
Answer phones and respond to inquiries
Check and send emails
Make and confirm reservations
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Provide information to guests about hotel amenities, local attractions, and activities
Stay informed about room availability and types of accommodations
Communicate with housekeeping to ensure smooth operations
Address and resolve guest complaints in a calm and professional manner
Notify management of unresolved issues or emergencies
Complete various clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
Experience with hotel booking software is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, personable approach
Ability to stay calm and patient in high-pressure situations
Organized and detail-oriented
Spanish language skills are highly recommended
