Hideaway Bakery Delivery Driver Ad
Hideaway Bakery is looking for a wholesale delivery driver! Must enjoy working alone, be a reliable early riser, and maintain organization throughout your workday.
Work schedule is 4 days per week, Thursday through Sunday.
Workday begins at 4:30 am and goes until about 10am or later depending on extra tasks.
Pay begins at minimum wage while training, and will be raised to $16.50 an hour after the training period is over.
This is a great position for early morning people who enjoy primarily solo work. Must have basic computer skills, and the ability to stay on task and be organized.
You will drive our delivery van.
Responsibilities include:
Invoicing, slicing and packaging bread
Delivering to local area restaurants and health food stores
Communicate order changes with stores via email, phone, or in person
Packaging various products to sell in the bakery including pizza, ravioli, muesli, biscotti etc.
Assisting with small amounts of pastry production as needed
Helping to maintain a clean and organized freezer
Requirements:
Over 21 with valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to begin work early in the morning (4:30 am)
Ability to do simple math quickly and accurately
Preferred Skills:
Computer skills (MS Excel & Word) a plus
Previous experience is a plus, but not strictly necessary
