Hideaway Bakery is looking for someone to be an early morning pastry baker, join our production crew, and fill in for other bakery related jobs. The production crew requires a combination of skills as you will not only be performing regular bakery tasks, but also communicating with the team to build a plan for the week, organizing prep rooms, maintaining accurate inventory, and updating recipes.
Bakery tasks will require that you should be strong (heavy lifting required), be a great team player, have an open mind, be ready and willing for any task thrown at you. This is a dynamic position; the person in this role should be a critical thinker and willing to try new things to improve upon current processes.
General bakery tasks will have you using large mixers, baking product, shaping dough, scooping muffins and cookies, making fills, etc. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. You must be available Monday-Thursday.
