As an Assistant Manager you will fill a dual role as a Direct Support Professional providing support for the individuals living in the home as well as the responsibilities of the Assistant Manager.
What you will be doing:
As a DSP:
You will provide support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in ways that enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of those we support.
Job duties included and not limited to:
Providing person centered companionship
Preparing meals and cleaning
Plan and participate activities in the community
Ensure daily tasks to provide a safe and heathy home
Possibly nursing delegations (not in all homes)
As an Assistant Manager:
Weekend work is required
Taking Weekend On-call for Program you are assigned to
Designated admin hours to complete tasks
Delegated monthly administrative tasks
Shopping for groceries and general house supplies
Not responsible for disciplinary actions.
