Thriving multi-disciplinary practice in the Oakway Center complex off of Coburg Road looking to add a new member to the family. We need a Full Time Medical Receptionist, approximately 8:45AM - 6:30PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:45AM - 2:30PM Friday. Our practice offers sports medicine, chiropractic medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation, acupuncture, and massage therapy. Candidate must present with utmost professionalism, reliability, polish, and a friendly and warm demeanor. Candidate must have strong customer service background in healthcare. Minimum of 2 years in healthcare reception and scheduling strongly preferred.

Duties include:

Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in person or on the telephone.

Oversees effective scheduling of patient and provider time, and treatment room utilization in person or by telephone.

Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival or delays.

Collects co-pays and patient records.

Prepares professional correspondence and maintains efficient lines of communication with referring physicians.

Responsible for filing and retrieving patient records.

Maintains patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating demographic and insurance information.

Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; and reporting equipment deficiencies to management.

Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Maintains clean facilities, including sanitizing treatment tables, reception areas and office equipment, as well as washing and folding laundry utilized for treatment purpose.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications: Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism in both Appearance and Demeanor, Minimum High School Diploma.
