Oregon Medical Group is a growing, multi-specialty practice that includes over 700 dedicated providers and staff at multiple locations within the Eugene/Springfield area. We are physician owned and directed, and focused on serving our expanding patient base.Responsibilities:
Assist with Dermatology treatments and procedures
Operation of cryostat for Mohs procedure under direct supervision of Mohs surgeon
Staining tissue sample slides for Mohs procedures
Cross train to assist department nursing staff with patient care responsibilities
Coordinate ordering of supplies, inventory, autoclaving, stocking of patient care areasRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Mohs Technician
MA certification from the AAMA, NCCT, or RMA
Healthcare provider level CPR certification required
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with physicians, patients, and coworkers
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
Must be flexible, a quick learner, and able to multi-task
