We are a private practice looking for a full time patient care coordinator! Our office days and hours are Monday through Thursday 8-5 with the occasional Friday. We are hiring for 4 days per week.
Our perfect candidate will have a positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to communicate with staff and patients with compassion and kindness. They will be detail oriented and thorough with each task in front of them. Our team is respectful and always offering to help teammates in any way possible!
Dentrix experience is a plus. We also use Practice By Numbers for paperless forms and patient and inter-office communication.
Our ideal candidate excels in the following areas:
Scheduling– answering phones, appointment confirmation, email correspondence, scheduling appointments, complex treatment plan presentation, managing unscheduled treatment and hygiene recall, checking patients in and out. We strive to collect payments at the time of the visit.
Insurance - including insurance eligibility verification, preauthorization, claim appeals, billing primary, secondary & tertiary insurance, monitoring patient account balances, collecting past due balances, insurance aging accounts, patient/insurance refund processing.
Patient care - continuing care tracking, enrolling and tracking patients in our in-house discount program, ensuring HIPAA procedures are followed and overall providing patients with an optimal, positive dental experience.
