Neuropsychological Services of Oregon, LLC, (NSO) has an opening for a Psychometrist in Creswell.
NSO is a behavioral health clinic focused on the treatment of adults and geriatric patients with a variety of neurological, psychiatric, and general medical conditions.
The psychometrist is responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of a clinical neuropsychologist.
Duties Include:
Administration and scoring of neuropsychological and psychological measures in an outpatient setting.
Communication with supervising Clinical Neuropsychologist to adapt testing to the specific needs of the patient.
Provide a written summary of the patient’s behavior during testing.
Preparation of test summary sheets.
Completion of work assignments in a timely manner.
Review and ensure accuracy, availability, and security of information.
Completion of general office tasks and other duties as assigned (i.e., maintaining a test library, ordering forms, scheduling appointments, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology.
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple requests efficiently.
Great interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have an openness to constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience administering and scoring common cognitive tests and behavior rating forms is preferred, though training will be provided to a motivated candidate.
Experience in a medical setting.
Hours/Compensation:
Work hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Pay is hourly and based on experience (ranging from $21 to $26 per hour). Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off, retirement plan with employer match, and professional development funds. Health and dental insurance are not currently offered.
