We are a local, family-owned burial service and cemetery company that is looking to expand our team. This grave digging and cemetery maintenance position is an excellent opportunity for the right person. The position entails providing grave excavation services to cemeteries throughout Lane and North Douglas counties, grounds keeping, and maintenance of equipment, facilities.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Opening and closing grave sites, Installation of cement grave liners, burial of urns, mowing, edging markers & monuments with line trimmer, installation of markers and cemetery grounds maintenance. To accomplish these tasks this job will include the operation of; commercial riding mowers, backhoe, 1-ton dump truck, utility vehicle and small hand tools such as shovels, leaf blowers, saws, jackhammer, and line trimmers.

Availability to work Monday – Friday, some Saturdays and occasional overtime. Varied weekly work schedule that starts at 8:30am most days, averaging 30-35 hours a week.
Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid Oregon Driver’s license.
Reliable transportation to our facility.
Be in good physical fitness and strength, must be able to lift 100lbs. Much of this work can be strenuous at times and entails a full day of being outdoors. Applicant must be able to repetitively lift/carry medium weight loads on uneven surfaces.
Experience with operation of backhoe and lawn maintenance equipment is preferred but not required. Individuals with experience will be given preference. We are willing to train the right person.
Must pass background investigation regarding applicant’s aptitude, character, judgement, credit, driving record and criminal history. Our organization is a drug-free workplace.
