Orchard Point Kennels is hiring for our Barks & Rec daycare and boarding program.
We are looking to hire kennel techs, assistant dog trainers, and more. No experience is required, however we are looking for individuals who possess a very strong work ethic, extremely responsible, passionate, punctual, willingness to learn, motivated, works well in a team environment, flexible, fast learner, etc.
Some of the duties required for the kennel tech position include but are not limited to the following: washing dogs, walking dogs, grooming dogs, feeding dogs, cleaning out kennels and crates, moving and lifting items in various rooms, picking up dog poop, assisting with training, keeping the training area stocked and clean at all times, and numerous other responsibilities for the general cleanliness and maintenance of a dog training, boarding, and training center. Must also be comfortable occasionally being on camera for social media posts.
We are out right next to Fern Ridge Reservoir. You must have reliable transportation (i.e. your own vehicle) and preferably live close to the area. Hours are slightly flexible but there are morning and afternoon shifts available 7 days a week. This is a part-time position of approximately 15 hours per week with the ability to add more hours and become full-time if you bring a good attitude.
