We are currently seeking a Sawmill Worker to join our team at our Cedar Re-manufacturing center. As a Sawmill Worker, you will be responsible for pulling cedar boards as they are cut/sawn, sort and stack according to cedar grades, bundling into units, wrapping units and feeding the wood into a machine. If you have experience working in a physically demanding position, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately sort/ grade boards as they come down the green chain
- Bundle and Wrap wood into units
- Feed wood into a machine
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sawmill, distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
