Pacific Ag Systems specializes in agricultural irrigation and has been serving the irrigation needs of the farming communities of Southwestern Oregon since 1983. We specialize in the sales, service, and design of agricultural irrigation systems. We sell everything from wheel lines & travelers to above ground aluminum and buried PVC; from drip emitters to Big Gun water cannons; from micro systems to K-Line Irrigation. We handle all major brands, fabricate custom fittings, and retrofit obsolete systems.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Shop Technician at Pacific AG Systems located in Junction City, Oregon. Entry rate is $20-$24/hr based on experience, with a huge opportunity for career growth!
The Shop Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:
Maintenance and repair of equipment
Product assembly
Pipe repair
Shipping & receiving product
Operating forklifts as needed ( I would remove the “as needed” portion as they HAVE to be able to drive the forklift at a moment’s notice & often throughout the day)
Delivery of project materials
Qualifications
Maintenance & Repair skills
Good Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to drive company vehicle (Must have a clean driving record)
Experience with pulling & backing trailers
Good Communication skills
Troubleshooting skills
Experience in Forklift Operation
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
