We are a small family owned business that specializes in the manufacturing and installation of traffic signs. Looking for a laborer to work in the yard completing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to
Loading work trucks for upcoming projects
Unloading, Cleaning & Organizing work trucks
Picking up supplies, or delivery of supplies in company vehicles. This includes customer deliveries.
Unloading inbound shipments
Operate skid steer / forklift
Mowing/ Weed eating / Spraying
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Any hours left in the week will be spent at our sign shop working on the production of traffic signs. 1-2 days / week anticipated. Located in down town Springfield.
Job skills required:
Understanding of tools
Able to work with light supervision to complete tasks
Able to follow written communications
Problem solving skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to lift, bend, stand, climb
Strong organizational skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Pressure Washing
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation, no exceptions
Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
Experience:
6+ months customer service
1+ year shipping / receiving
1+ year in a labor or construction field
Welding experience a plus
Class B CDL a plus
Typically a M-F schedule. Hours can be negotiated. May be asked to work weekends / overtime.
