The Highway 58 Herald is a nonprofit news and information platform located in Oakridge. The Herald is looking to recruit a person to sell advertising, solicit donors and content sponsorships in the vicinity of the Eugene/Springfield area and surrounding cities/communities. As an independent contractor, job hours are flexible.
This a commission-based position. Travel expenses are negotiable.
The preferred candidate will:
be self-motivated with a can-do attitude (a closer),
able to deal with rejections,
personable and sincere when dealing with others,
trustworthy and can gain the trust of others,
project a neat and clean appearance,
have adequate transportation,
Some work may be done remotely.
