CNC Production Machinist
Location: Springfield, Oregon
Job Summary:
Operates and maintains CNC machines to produce precision parts. Responsible for loading materials, monitoring production, and performing quality checks. Ensures efficient and accurate machining operations.
Responsibilities:
Operate CNC milling and/or turning machines.
Load and unload materials and workpieces (up to 50lbs).
Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments.
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Perform routine maintenance on machines.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Stand for extended periods of time throughout the workday.
Work effectively with other coworkers in a team setting.
Be available with sufficient notice to work weekends if needed. Overtime is generally not required but likely available from time to time.
Maintain a high level of dependability to ensure company deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years (verifiable) experience in manufacturing.
Technical training preferred.
Experience with CNC machine operation.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Must pass drug screening.
Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
