We are looking for a stable, reliable delivery driver/warehouse worker to work steady, consistent hours at our mill location. Class A CDL certification a plus.
Below are a few of the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker job responsibilities and essential requirements:
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds. Load and unload products for delivery.
Deliver weekly deliveries to customers in the Portland and surrounding areas, twice a week.
Must be able to stand and or sit for the duration of the shift.
Perform pre and post trip inspections on vehicle driven. Report any defects to appropriate supervisor.
Drive forklift (as needed) in a safe and efficient manner.
Use of various equipment in the warehouse; such as, mills, bagger machine, sewers, scales, label printer etc.
Have good organizational skills and be able to complete required paperwork.
Prepare shipping documents.
Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Demonstrate ability to be a team player and be able to lead when needed.
Effectively work and communicate well with others, work at a fast pace, have a can-do attitude and contribute to the working relationships in the company.
Physical Effort:
Must have the physical strength and stamina for constant standing and walking during the shift.
Must be able to work flexible hours and work overtime as required.
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
