We are Mercury Metal.
Mercury is a full service metal fabrication shop. We have been around since 1947 and have grown from 5 team members in 2016 to over 40+ team members. This is good steady work and we have a great team. Most fabrication shops won't compare to how great of a place this is to work. This position is for swing shift.
We are looking for an experienced gas welder. Mercury has been repairing chain saw bars for the mills and for others since 1947. This is a Full-time position. You would mainly gas weld however, you would also quote and process orders on the computer and keep all orders on track in our "Bar shop". Other duties include some grinding, grooving and some sanding while keeping the work area clean and organized daily.
Paid vacation time, PTO, and 6 Paid major holidays. We take one week between Christmas and New Years off (which is optional to work typically whoever wants extra hours), and a Christmas bonus depending on our productivity each year. Health/vision insurance offered after 90 days. 401k/IRA beginning this year. We also have competitive wages.
