Essential Job Duties:
Set up machinery and adjust as necessary to improve performance and quality
Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
Make sure that parts are within tolerances and to print
Determine which tooling will be best used
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Clean machinery and maintain a clean work area
Perform “first article inspections” to ensure that product is within customer specifications
Qualifications and Experience:
Machining experience with mild steel, stainless, and aluminum
Mastercam experience, educational equivalent will be considered
Experience with a Fadal 3-axis CNC machine preferred
Experience using lathes, milling machine, drill presses, and grinders
Layout, measure, and mark metal stock
Lift up to 45 pounds
Detail and safety oriented
Ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement
Willingness to work overtime as required
