Program Managers (PM's) at IEI have a passion for helping people and this position requires an individual with the desire to learn leadership/management skills. PM's are responsible for learning all the related responsibilities for leading a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who provide services in the homes of people who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and sometimes co-occurring mental illness. IEI values teamwork and our Program Managers are provided a strong support system to help problem solve day to day situations. PM's assist with helping their teams to have open communication and promote goal-oriented tasks for those we serve and our DSP's. PM's at IEI are responsible for promoting a positive team attitude and be able to effectively respond to unexpected changes or demands.

It is preferred that Program Management candidates have at least 5 years' experience supporting adults with I/DD,

and 2 years management/supervisory experience including personnel management, scheduling, ability to write ISPs and knowledge of OARs.

As a Program Manager you would be responsible for supervising 6 to 15 DSP. This is a full-time position is paid hourly, including overtime. IEI currently has 10 sites where we serve adults with I/DD. Each one of our sites typically have one Program Manager that serves 2-5 people.
