What You’ll Do in This Role
KEEP is an evidence-based support and skill enhancement program for foster and kinship parents of children ages 2-3 (KEEP Toddler), 4-12 (KEEP Standard), and teens (KEEP SAFE) delivered in-person or remotely. The KEEP Engagement Specialist is responsible for contacting and registering eligible parents for KEEP support and training groups.

Requirements:
2 years education beyond high school with coursework appropriate to the position and 2 years related experience or equivalent combination
Demonstrated competence with Excel, Microsoft Word, and web-based applications, experience using teleconferencing platforms (especially Zoom) in a professional setting, and the skills to assist others
Persists by calling multiple times, maintaining a professional demeanor, particularly when presented with challenging personal stories and private information
Must be an active listener and document participants’ answers accurately and precisely
Skills to navigate shared organizational systems: spreadsheets, FIDO database, electronic calendaring
Preferred Experience:
Experience in evidence-based practices, adult education, and/or peer support groups preferred
Experience in a Social Service field preferred
Experience providing outreach preferred
Spanish language proficiency preferred
