We are a local tile and slab company with an opening for a full-time Admin/Showroom Assistant. The main focus of this position is to assist with admin and office duties, and the secondary focus is to assist with showroom duties as needed. Duties will include, but not limited to:
-Typing correspondence, documents, spreadsheets, etc using word and excel.
-Answering phone calls, taking messages and/or directing calls to the right person.
-Running errands as needed.
-Keeping Admin on schedule and organized.
-Opening and sorting mail.
-Taking notes, emailing notes and correspondence, filing all paperwork in an organized manner.
-Tidying up areas.
-Keeping supplies filled.
-Assisting customers when no one else is available by taking notes, getting prices, etc.
-Tidying up the showroom, putting away and organizing samples.
The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, and is able to multitask while also prioritizing and managing their time wisely. Looking for someone who has a positive and friendly personality, who can work well independently and is also a team player. Good writing, math, computer & organizational skills are necessary.
Pay is dependent on experience. Will train the right person. Health insurance after 3 months and 401k/Profit Sharing plan after 1 year, for full-time employees only.
