On-site, Part-time Manager for Self-Storage Facility
This is an ad for a part-time job along with an affordable home rental. The job is 20 hours per week, and the 1,100 sq ft, 2 bedroom 1 ½ bath home is $925/month.
The job is for an onsite, live-in assistant manager for Harrisburg RV Storage in Harrisburg, OR. The job is mostly office work & some outdoor work. The work is primarily done at Harrisburg RV Storage, but also includes work at our other nearby facilities: JB Mini Storage & Harrisburg Storage.
Skills needed:
Effective communication skills.
Able to work with and assist other managers.
Punctual, time-conscious, organized and detail oriented.
Able to troubleshoot problems and identify solutions.
Office Work:
Courteous and knowledgeable Customer Service.
Phone skills, including receiving credit card payments.
Computer and software skills.
General Office management, filing, copying, light cleaning.
Outdoor Work:
Physical ability to lift (25lbs), general mobility.
Able to drive and possessing a valid driver’s license.
Able to clean units and maintain business property.
General handyman skills, ability to use power tools, able to climb a ladder a plus (but not required).
Hours per week:
20 Hours per week. Approximately 15 hours would be office work, and 5 hours outdoor work. This includes some full and ½ days, and some Saturdays. The schedule is coordinated with other managers.
On-Site home rental:
The on-site home, built in 2019, has 2 bedrooms, 1 ½ bathrooms washer/dryer. It is an 1,100 sq foot home, located next to the storage facility. Rent is $925/month which includes Comcast Internet, electric, sewer, water and garbage. Tenants must be non-smoking, and able to pass a drug test and background check.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ($16-20 per hour) is determined by experience.
Reduced rent (approx. $500 value)
Paid Time Off (PTO) – added monthly as a percentage of hours worked.
Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) – a fund used for health expenses.
Annual bonus, and mileage reimbursement.
