Friendly Street Market is in the heart of the Friendly Neighborhood. Main Street Market is in the thriving, downtown Washburne district of Springfield. We are looking for an individual that have a love and passion for food!
DUTIES
Assisting customers
Front register cashier and bagging
Facing and stocking shelves while paying close attention to dates
Stocking duties would include stocking all parts of the store during an evening shift would include:
Stocking beer and wine area
Any products near and surrounding the front register
Receiving and checking vendors in
Answer telephone calls
Help maintain cleanliness of the store
Opening and/or closing the store
REQUIREMENTS
Outstanding customer service
Must have an outgoing and upbeat personality
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
Proficiency in multi-tasking different duties at once
Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
Effective time management skills
General knowledge of natural and organic foods and products
Ability to follow instruction and procedures
Physical requirements of standing for long periods of time, twisting, bending and lifting of 25-50 lb’s
Knowledge of OLCC standards when selling alcohol and tobacco
Previous experience working in a grocery store is required. If you do not have experience working in grocery store, please do not respond to this ad.
Must have a flexible open schedule. Needs to be willing to work evenings and/or weekends.
